I was raised, on our property “Tarwin Meadows”, situated in South Gippsland, as was my own Family. In the past 20 years, I have become passionate about our environment, the welfare of our animals and the product that we generate. My background in farming has enabled me to develop what I consider to be a high quality paddock to plate product, something I felt that was previously lacking to the general public.
My ultimate aim in purchasing Ashburton Meats 7 years ago was to provide all customers with an excellent standard of service and the best eating experience on offer.
Paul the driving force behind the team at Ashburton Meats, has over 24 years of experience. Paul began his involvement in the butchery field at a young age. Starting as a clean-up kid out the back of the shop Paul has seen the evolution of Ashburton Meats to what it is today. Paul is now a passionate co-owner, and prides himself on providing customers with a truly enjoyable shopping experience. This was further acknowledged by his customer base when he was awarded the highly acclaimed John Reddish Award for best customer service. With a wide ranging knowledge about all produce, Paul is able to pass on this knowledge to customers from cooking tips to cuts of meats.

I started my career as a butcher as a clean up kid after school. I ended up becoming a casual cashier over the weekends which in turn got me my apprenticeship offer and I haven’t looked back since. I am a passionate Richmond Tigers supporter as well as a passionate car enthusiast. I like to spend my weekends at the drag racing track. I am grateful to be working with such a talented group of people and look forward to furthering my knowledge of the industry!
